"Demand for the facilities and services provided by the Physics Factory has already outstripped supply – and having visited, it’s easy to see why. It offers innovative, high quality professional development for teachers, and tuition for GCSE physics classes. Interim exam results for the classes taught here is very impressive, and many students have changed their A level subject choices to include physics.
Physics Factory tuition is in such demand that a facility three times its size would still be full – as a result, there are welcome plans to open further Physics Factories to meet the current demand for tuition and teacher professional development.
Clearly The Physics Factory is succeeding in helping Birmingham science teachers to deliver inspirational physics teaching in their own schools, and engaging and raising the aspirations of many young people in the city. Investment in the Physics Factory is paying dividends for the current and next generation of students, and it is becoming an established part of science provision, offered to as many students and teachers that want to use it.
Plans for a Chemistry Factory are underway, and will enhance Birmingham’s growing reputation as a centre for science excellence."

A fantastic facility, a true centre of excellence with inspirational staff and a real ‘can-do’ approach to physics teaching. We are very happy to continue our support for equipment procurement and developing new and innovative physics teaching equipment
