As in the other days, seemingly difficult topics have been covered with ease and now I can confidently use this information in the future. Delegate

today was not a disappointment. The electromagnetic spectrum, radioactivity in particular can be complicated and boring to teach, and learn! Once again some easy but impressive demonstrations to engage each pupil and enhance their learning experience.
The entire course has given me so much to take away and apply to future lessons. well done physics factory - and phil!

100% of delegates said they thought the course was either 'good or very good' with 64% saying it was 'very good'

SOME COMMENTS FROM THE DELEGATES:

‘Magnets workshop was a bit tiring as I think more was needed to keep pupils interested. I now know how cross curricular links can be developed i.e. History, in terms of fascinating stories to do with scientists.’
‘Really enjoyed today, I genuinely wasn’t looking forward to magnetism but it was fantastic. I was reminded of the great experiments I had done at school.’
‘I hadn’t thought before what the magnetic field lines represented so that was a revelation! Using iron filings to show the magnetic fields was an excellent idea and very visual.’
‘The stories of famous scientists were very interesting.’
‘Another good day, just not as exciting as the other days due to the lack of practical available. However, the teaching was still great! My understanding of radio-activity has improved. I think it’s great when Phil asks ‘What do you think?’
‘Another brilliant day. As in the other days, seemingly difficult topics have been covered with ease and now I can confidently use this information in the future.’
‘Great, informative day, slightly slower today though.’
‘I now have got a deeper understanding of the electromagnetic spectrum and radio activity.’
‘Learned lots today’
‘Before today I thought all waves were harmful but have found out the benefits too.’

HOW COULD THE COURSE BE MADE BETTER?
‘Maybe people could do some revision before the course to help their understanding.’
