Archbishop Ilsley Year 9 Physics Master Classes (14th and 21st Jan 2010)

The aim of these lessons was to enthuse some high ability students with Physics to encourage them to choose to study triple science in Year 10

STUDENT EVALUATIONS - SUMMARY

100% of students said they thought the lesson was either 'good or very good' with 65% saying it was 'very good'
100% of students said they would like to attend more lessons at the Physics Factory
81% of students said at the end of the lesson they would like to study Physics at A Level

Hello Phil, thanks very much, the year 9s are really singing Seperate Science now, which was exactly the intention; and those that didn't get to go are asking them lots of questions to see what all the fuss is about. We were also at the year 9 Physics Big Quiz at Birmingham Uni yesterday so that's contributed to the Physics Fever the year 9s now have.
But thanks again, and I'll definately keep in touch; I don't think we'll be able to get a 'girls group' over this year, but it's something to think about for next year.
